Potionkeep is local first and offline only. Everything you enter, your items, schedules, and history, stays on your device. We do not run servers, we have no accounts, we use no analytics or advertising, and nothing you track ever leaves your device unless you deliberately export it yourself. The app works fully in airplane mode, forever.

Who we are

What data we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sell, or share any personal information. Specifically:

No account. There is no signup, login, email, or profile.
Your tracking data (the items you add, when you log them, notes, ratings, settings, and history) is stored only in a private database and preferences on your device.
No analytics or telemetry. We do not measure how you use the app.
No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
No third party trackers or data collection tools.
No location, contacts, photos, or health data access.

Features that touch the system, still on device

Notifications are scheduled and delivered locally by your device. Their content stays on your device.
Home screen and lock screen widgets read a snapshot of your active timers from a private, app only container on your device. That data is never sent anywhere.
In app purchase (Potionkeep Pro). Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or receive your name, payment details, or card information. The store tells the app only whether the one time unlock is owned, which is cached on your device.

Health related information

Any medication, supplement, or habit information you enter is data you provide for your personal tracking. It is not medical data we hold, it is never transmitted, and the app provides no medical advice, dosing recommendations, or safety guidance. See the disclaimer in the app and in our Terms of Service.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you control it:

Delete individual entries at any time inside the app.
Export a copy for your own backup; the exported file goes only where you send it.
Deleting the app removes its on device data according to your operating system's normal behavior.

We cannot access, retrieve, or delete your data for you, because we never have it.

Children's privacy

Potionkeep is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region) and collects no personal information from anyone.

International users

The app functions identically everywhere and transmits no data across borders, because it transmits no data at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the new version here. Because we collect nothing, material changes are unlikely.
